1950's - Zell Glass Fuse Plugs

This is a vintage 1950's full box of (5) un-used glass screw-in fuse plugs made by the Zell Manufacturing Company Inc., New York, NY. - these are 15 amp / 125 volt glass with the "edison-type" brass screw-base. - Dating to 1950's based on the type of UL (Underwriters Laboratories) label type and also the company address uses a postal zone number instead of a 1960's era zip code. - I could find no history information on the company past 1957. These fuses were used for home and building electrical wiring systems prior to the use of circuit breakers. Zell also made some of the early Christmas lights under the Zelco brand name.
