This weeks flea market score! I was lucky enough to catch this amp as soon as a tool dealer was putting it out for sale. No one really pays attention to this guy because he usually sells old broken low quality tools and he is somewhat of a tool himself, not a nice guy to deal with. But I got it a bargain price and ran to my truck with it. It is a bone stock 1960 DeArmond R5T (except for new AC cord, the old was was rotting and dangerous), original Amprex bugle 12AX7's and GE 6L6. No soldering iron has touched the insides of this thing (except or the AC cord replacement). This is hands down one of the best sounding amps that I have ever played and I have been playing for over 30 years and owned and own most popular vintage amps out there. It is an amazing little amp. I will hold onto it until I'm an old man sitting on my porch playing it as loud as I can (shouldn't be too long now)
