ok i like variety ,.wich is good ,.but i couldnt resist when i spotted a second lil Seth german clock at the thrift store for 4 bucks,..wasnt running at the time so i snaged it for spares...but after blowing the dust out of the movement and a lil nanolube on the sticky bits it started tickign away,..both keeping good time now!! so much for spares!,..same movement but slightly different dial surface,..and has text on the back plate"made in germany for seth thomas clocks, thomaston conn USA,one(1)jewel unadjusted" has some litle scratches in the acrylic i might attack with some acrylic polish but might leave it alone ,..we all deserve to show our age,..we earned it,... question ive got is,.pre ww2 or post? im unclear on how to tell
if it was in glass it might have been the 20s,..im not sure when acrylic became available for making novelty clocks
