This has the look, yes these are very common. And are very affordable & available to find in thrift shops. But, this piece is it's present state of years of use make it a eye grabber. I got it for 75¢ which was a good deal being that the glass dish inside was clear of cracks or chips. It's missing the utensil but I use a horn caviar spoon as it's replacement. I dig it! =)
