These wine glasses came to the United States during the time of World War ll With an Irish bride who married an American Soldier. I have no background information on them other than the woman who owned these was a high society woman and she told me that these glasses were hand blown and "very old and valuable". I know this meant something coming from her. She had a lot of very nice items and did not say that about anything else she had. The glasses are roughly 5" tall and 3" in diameter. They are very smooth with no mold markings. The rim is rough. No two glasses are exactly alike and they none seem to stand perfectly straight. They have such beautiful pearl/rainbow coloring when the light hits them.
Any further knowledge you may have is greatly appreciated!
TallCakes will know...I know that I love them!
