This Barbour Silver Serving Tray has been in many family for many, many years. The ornate handles, feet and edging is really beautifyl, a luscious grapevine motif. I know it's Barbour from the mark, as well as the BSCEP stamp (which means silver plate, I know). The other two marks I don't understand, and would love to know more. Is the number the "batch" number? does it indicate a year range? What about the other mark, does it show the city the tray was made in? You can see more photos, and in more detail, at: http://www.threetrusts.com/Silvertray.php. Truth is, I'd love to know something about the value, esp. since I now know its just silver plate, not sterling. Thanks for any help you can give me!

I have the same tray, the numbers on mine are 5613/20 it was a gift to my grandparents for their 25th ann. 1882-1907 . My father told me it came from a store in Fort Wayne , In. Not worth much, just a keepsake.
