    Very Heavy 11.5 lbs
When I saw this and went to pick it up I couldn't believe how heavy it is!! Wow!
    Height almost 13" Tall
I love love love the color's and raku glaze.
    Very rough feeling.
Best of all is the strange shape!
I know some will say this is ugly but I find it to be awesome!! :)
Now the question is....what is the hole for in the center for ???
The shape reminds me of Native American ceremonial pieces.
    Is it Native American?

BB and racer4four you are cracking me up....lol
but I have never seen a wedding jug this size.....
as far as the hole in the center I guess it was for some type of utensil because it is kinda deep.

Well, I've seen even bigger wedding jugs! Some had a deep hollow in the middle, but not that deep! I prefer smaller jugs without that big depression. After all, jugs are just an accessory at the wedding & afterwards. Something you have to keep! I have examined a whole lot of wedding jugs in my life & found that I preferred the ones that were not at home.

Melanie, try living on a speck in the ocean. The locals all remember me even though all white people look alike to them. OH, jugs. I really like your jugs! Can't appear to be fb.

Well eye4, they call it a bra & not a pair of bra's. RE: pair of pants, pair of glasses, pair of panties, pair of ear muffs and so on. I defend my position with tradition. LOL!!

Eye4, you are a wise person. I found that I was getting dizzy last wk.. I started driving CCW around the island to go to work & the dizziness went away so I alternate now.
