I am posting this for a friend. They only sent me these pics taken with a cell phone camera. I believe this is Czech Art glass but just asking for a confirmation for them. Via the pics it looks like it is a Purple and Blue tone. Has some lobes at the base

I'm not sure on the Czech attribution but I can say I really don't think it's Japanese....if that's any help!
