Just purchase this chair today, bought it because it looks almost new, and the price tag was only $3.99 I've been trying to figure out the tag, no success! Don't know if 622-RX is the model and if is, I not been able to get anything about it, online. Again will appreciate all the info you can provide.

I don't know if you've found any information as of date, but I recently purchased a chair at the thrift store from the same company. I sent an email to W H Gunlocke Chair Co giving them the serial numbers and anything else I could find on the chair. You may be able to find more information that way. Best of luck!
The 622r Chair you bought is a real jewel. A number of Presidents have used it if they had any kind of back pain. It is called a posture-back executive chair because the back makes you sit correctly by pushing on you to sit erect. If you paid $3.99 for it you must have been holding a gun on the seller. At $399 it would still be a bargain. New it would be at least $900 -$1000. The Gunlocke Co. is famous for its drive to produce outstanding quality in all its products. At one time they had a lifetime guarantee on their products. Would you consider selling it for say, $9.99; that's more than a 100% profit. I have just posted my own Gunlocke chair to this site... a black tufted leather executive chair. Curious about anyone's thoughts on it, if you know anything about it. saj0527, I sent an email to Gunlocke but have not heard anything back.
