      I wish I had some halvah now. I was a gentile in an all Jewish school. (oh two orthodox Greeks too) and when I passed a Jewish grocery store on the way home from school I always went in for a small cube of Halvah wrapped in cellophane. I miss it! I haven't had any since I was 13 and we moved. It is cream colored. flaky, delicious!!
      halvah: A confection consisting of crushed sesame seeds in a binder of honey.
