    I think this is Japanese, it's a lovely bowl with a lid.
    Hand painted and raised beading .
    It has a hand painted stamp on base and also something written on the lid.
    It looks old, loads of crazing on it .
    Any oriental experts out there who can help ?

      Thank you Katherinescollections I have uploaded a photo of the base, if you also zoom in on the lid there is some writing in gold just under the ladies .

      Some of the experts here may disagree but this looks like an older piece to me. You might try asking on the Gotheburg site.

      Thank you, it does look very old, it has a lot of crazing on it .

      I must have cross-posted with Grendel, didn't see that comment before. I agree, Chinese Satsuma. Gotheburg has a page of marks, you may want to see if you can find a reference there. Good luck!
