Fold-out Christmas Tree

I would like any information known about this cardboard fold-out Christmas tree. It has been handed down to us; however, not much is known. It can fold flat and came in it's own flat cardboard box wrapped in craft paper with the stamps shown. I believe the stamps date it to about 1904 time period. It folds out into a circle. Underneath a candle would be lit to illuminate 4 nativity scene pictures around the base which are printed on a cellophane-type material. There are stars that also light up as you go up the tree made from cellophane. I believe it was meant to even have clip-on candles! For the tree topper, there is a metal disc with hanging angels that will rotate from the heat given off from the candle at the base. Not a safe product by any means, but so very interesting. I believe the only wording that we can find on this piece is the wording above each scene of the nativity, and we believe it is in Old German. It's not in perfect shape, but any help as to its origin and estimated value would be greatly appreciated. I have not found anything close to it online. It stands 22 inches tall, and the address on the wrapping is from McCool Junction, Nebraska.
