SCANDINAVIAN GLASS VASE circa 1970

Finnish glass vase designed by TAMARA ALADIN for Riihimaen Lasi Oy.
She designed many glass forms and silverware. This series was called
"TORNADO" for obvious reasons and was produced in many forms and heights. The tallest in my photos is 9". The line was produced in amber, cobalt and emerald. Like many lines of Scandinavian glass, test or prototypes were also released in very limited quantities, of other colors, but never mass produced; so you may come across a red or root beer colored vase. These, of course have a higher value.
