I think newborn girl about 2ft in length, with eyes that open when holding her upright and close when she lays down , never seen what her actual clothing is or a name.... and I put the diaper on her she has a hole and her stuffing is showing and I think its an old noise mechanism inside her, doesn't work ,plastic or vinyl limbs and head, but cloth body. I had her since I was a kid and the 60's are before my time, I don't know anything else about her.

Just do a google search on the mark on the back of her head, I'm not going to do it for you... It's an Ideal doll...

Thanks , I did that ,that's how I found the site, I can't seem to find this exact doll, just one similar with different numbers at the end. I only know that it's an ideal doll because of the marking.

Many times companies used same part numbers on different dolls . Here is your doll

I wondered because this version seems to show up in Canada market more . Welcome to our site . I have yet to find her name as she seems nameless when I see one's like her but not rare and is in kinda rough condition . If she was your doll as a child I would just enjoy her :-)

Thank you, I never knew anything about her and just came across her as an adult cleaning out the attic, thanks again!!

Aww - then she needs some clothes and to be brought OUT of the attic!

Has anyone (but me) ever read the book "The Blue Day"? It's a charming little book set in Holland about a doll named Mieke Who lives in an attic with other forgotten toys and waits for the 'Blue Day' when all the forgotten toys come to life and visit the Blue Fairy to have their fondest wish fulfilled. Her friend the Kees Crow comes one morning and tells her it's the Blue Day, and off she goes. HER fondest wish is to play with a REAL baby.

OMG - I must still be a little child, because I still LOVE this book - and I still have my childhood copy somewhere. Here is a good description. TAKE YOUR DOLL OUT! Efesgirl would like this book!
