    Can't find anything about this lovely piggy bank. Flowers are decals. FAO Schwarz logo is stamped. Everything else hand painted. All-over fine crazing indicates some age. Bottom stopper is rubbery rather than plastic. Anyone have any info or one like it?

      Vintage piggy bank purchased from FAO Schwarz in the 1960's. Made in Japan.

      Those are the correct approx. measurements, Dizzydave. Schwarz and Japan are on the back stamp, but how did you arrive at the date? Are you able to provide a hypertext link to a similar bank? Thanks.

      Brilliant, Dizzydave! Thank you. Mine is in better condition from the one described, and I'm sure it has appreciated substantially in the decade since that one was sold. Good news for the valuation.
