This is an old jaw-style rock crusher I acquired several years ago to add to my machine collection. It was manufactured by the "American Road Machinery Company" in Kennett Square, PA. I do not know the age, but from the poured bearings I would say ~75 years? I have only seen smaller crushers at "Old Farm Days" events, but nothing quite this size. The crusher is ~6,000 - 8,000 lbs and the flywheels on it are ~4ft in diameter, 8" wide with a 1" rim thickness. It does work and crushes rocks fine.
The Crusher was sold in January of 2012.
