Hello everyone.
I commented on Kiwipaul's post from 3 days ago that I had this ring so thought I should post it for you to see. It is nowhere near as nice as Kiwi's ring!!!
It has all the hallmarks...AR for Alexander Ritchie, IONA and ICA for Iona Celtic Arts as well as the Anchor for Birmingham, Lion for sterling and the date letter K for 1934.
Have had this ring for 5 years or so, not sure what you would call the ship on it??
Not much else I can say about it!! Kiwi has put a link to the site on his post if you would like to have a read.

The ring is beautiful. Have you ever seen a tasmania devil in the wild just wondering heard they are very rare too see.

I have only been in Tassie since 2002 and live in the city. I haven't seen a devil in the wild here, but I'm sure if I was a bush walker (which I am not lol) going into remote areas I would come across one for sure. Just be a matter of being in the right place at the right time.....

Look up David James web sight on Alexander Ritchie collections of Richie's silver and other items. I think you will find it interesting.
One other thing...On David James book, Under Pendants last page he has a piece from my collection. ...Prioress Anna silver and cobalt blue enamel pendant with long chain.
