A departure from perfectly round lead crystal paperweights. I needed something to stabilize that vase covering my sun generated whirligig thingy. When the sun shines on the panels, it starts to turn. The brighter the sun, the faster it turns. That is also hand made and a thrift shop find.. I don't know what it's called in English.

Yeah, I think I'm with Peggy on that one. Whirligig thingy works. : ). It looks great with the new paperweight on top. It reminds me of a glass bell jar / cloche that way.
