And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street, Dr. Seuss identification of the first edition / first printing are listed below.
-Boy on book cover has white shorts, later edition boy has blue shorts
-Title page with The Vanguard Press New York ‘1937,’
-copyright page
>Copyright, 1937, by Dr. Seuss
>Duenewald Printing Corporation
>no additional printings listed
Here's my problem or I'm hoping my blessing. Take a look at the pictures I provided. The front cover of my book has "Marco" the boy in blue shorts, thus must be a second, third, fourth edition. Remember the true first/first by the entire Dr. Seuss community Has "Marco" wearing white shorts and adhering to the information above thus 1st/1st.
My book has "Marco" on the front board wearing blue shorts, Title page reads The Vanguard Press New York ‘1937,’ and that's fine. The copyright page should read second edition or later, but it doesn't, it reads as the first/first.

It's like my book fits between the 1st and 2nd printing. Some one has to know about this printing error. Maybe I'm the only one with the miss print which might not be a bad situation. I would have a extremely rare copy.
Please help,
