How many SCUBA divers can say they checked-out on a double-hose regulator?? Back in the 1960's wetsuits were black, BC's were horse-collars, and divers were gorillas.
This vintage 1960 US Divers Aqualung "DA" Aquamaster regulator is not rare, but it's a classic and in fully "tuned-up" working condition. It took a skill set that is not taught today to clear the mouthpiece and merely rolling over underwater was sufficient for it to free-flow.
There are vintage diving clubs in various areas of the US and a few "experts" that have stockpiled NOS regulator parts. Anything vintage diving is collectable - paper, regulators, patches, and accessories. I've traded or sold just about all my vintage gear, except for this double-hose and the Scubapro Air I with the Cyklon 300 octopus.
This is so cool.
