Got this today from a picker who found it in a barn in Georgia!!! Nothing says it better than ice cold Coca Cola!!! I get as much excitement out of it when they tell me their story of how they found it as I do when I find them myself:)
Love your enthusiasm, Trey. Great sign! :)
I totally know what you mean man! Cool to hear the stories. Great sign my friend. Thats a keeper!
Another beauty! I can't wait till u run out of places to put the stuff u find and let us in on some of it!!!
The stories of the find are important and fun Trey. The stories that sign could tell would be fun to know too!
Another great find my friend!!
You are getting me inspired (again) to do some more in depth looking up here in Georgia!
Oh a Great find Trey !!!!
Wow!!! That's an early one! Congrats for adding it to your great collection :-D
I got mine at Target a few years ago... See the pixels in the close up? Unless that is an original, and they made repros like the one I have.

Thanks for the love and nice comment Rattletrap:) I was discussing with my brother yesterday about buying the old Ford dealership from the 1920's in the small town we grew up in and turning it into a special events place. It will be for Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversarys and Family reunions and of course the theme will be old country store with signs and gas pumps everywhere:)
Thanks for the love and nice comment DaveSierra:) It's out there my friend!! You have to remember that there was a store on every corner in every small town in this big beautiful country and that is a lot of signs!!!

I assure you Celiene this is very real:)
The real question is, why did they get the year wrong? The bottler was patented in 1915, not 1916.
There are actually some bottles with the '1916' date on them.
Nice thing about finding good stuff in Ga is they don't rust that much. I was amazed when I moved here from south Fla is how pristine old signs are in this area. Back in 1980 I went to a junk yard and found rust free parts off a 1964 GTO. Just amazing.
So fun. You would be great to work for! Take a peek at this bottle, I thought of you when I saw it.

To answer your question SpiritBear, this is the rarer of 2 signs. The one sign identical to this one with the 1915 bottle or the Christmas bottle and this one with the 1916 bottle or thanksgiving bottle.
