Hi, I have this ring in my family for more than 40 years now, it belonged to my grandfather (I am 40 years old now and I know the ring from my childhood). Recently I became interested in wearing men jewelry and my mother gave me this ring (since my grandfather past away 3 years ago) and I was wondering if anybody can tell me if the type of the ring and the engraving has any significance...maybe the period, I don't know ...any information will be much appreciated! Thank you!
That is quite a ring. I've never seen marks like that before.
The photos are too blurry to see the detail; it looks to be a good quality ring; get it tested - it may turn out to be 9 or 10 kt gold or even higher.
