A while ago, at a local estate sale, I bought a huge German Beer Stein. I wanted to add something different to my collection of other German Beer Steins (21).
It weighs 3.5 kg (almost 8 pounds) without any beer in it.
It is 17" tall, the base is 6.5" and the top opening is 4" in diameter. I think it can hold about 3 liters of beer.
The message on the stein reads "Freut Euch Des Leben".
There are some markings on the bottom:
1. Engraved triangle.
2. Engraved MADE GERMANY.
3. Engraved Number: 3 264
4. Engraved small cross ? followed by a letter L
5. In the middle of the base - red number "10" is printed.
I do not have any other information (age, Manufacturer etc.).
