This little brooch, in my opinion, was not intended as jewelry, but rather to commemorate or display something. First I believed it to be French but the order of the colours of the rhinestones don't match the Tricolore's Blue/White/Red.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for looking:)

Pretty certain this is british and is the kings crown. Probably a souvenir, had a quick look around google but could not find one like this.

TassieDevil, thanks for your comment. I checked Google too but couldn't find anything either. I think, though, that you are correct thinking it might be a souvenir:)

Crown pins are very popular and this one is not meant to have a meaning, like so many others. A lot of these crowns had a piece of red velvet in the background which offset the crown and I have picked up some of them. The red velvet backdrop may have once been on this one also.

Perhaps a memento of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation - the stones are ordered in the right direction, red - white - blue.

TassieDevil pointed out it`s King`s crown. So, either George V or George VI. Unless made and sold without being in connection with a particular period (decorative crown brooch).
