There had to be millions of decorative items exported from Europe that crossed the Atlantic for North American destinations during the 2oth mid century era. We see a lot of it still available and collectable today.

This ewer shape vase, was one of the 1950s-60s popular type of item. Much glass and pottery was made and sold in this shape, I had my own mid-century ewer collection, mixing them all together.

This piece is about 8 inches high, still has it's original label, marked on the base and is hand painted with lots of gold accents. That was the style of this company Hubert Bequet from Belgium. I'm sure you can find many more examples of his ceramic pieces with a search.
