Hi all, I came across this item at one of the garage sales. It was found among miscellaneous unrelated items scattered around an unkept yard. It caught my eye and it wasn't expensive at all. Does anyone know what this is and how old it can be? I'm not very knowledgeable about Asian artifacts. It looks like it could be a sword, but the tip is made as a fork. Any leads are much appreciated!

      Thank you Jenni and Vetra!
I think it is called a coin sword ( i was kidding about a fondue fork =) but most of the Asian coin swords are made completely out of coins, and this one only has a coin handle.
