I inherited 8 of these plates and can't find out anything about them. I was hoping someone on here maybe will recognize the mark on the back so I can at least have a starting point to research from. I'm guessing they are Japanese, but I don't have a clue as to their age or value. They are beautiful, though. Thanks for helping!

Thanks for the love ho2culture, fortapache, vetraio50, Radegunder, aura, and Newfld. I really appreciate it. I'm still trying to figure these out if anyone knows anything. I had an appraiser take a quick look (unofficially) who told me 19th century Katano and valued them at $100-$150 a piece, but I'm having a hard time believing that. I haven't found a set to price compare with that is similar, and although very pretty, I can't see anything special about them that would make them so pricey. Opinions are appreciated, as well. Thanks!

      *Katano = Kutani
I'm not sure why my phone keeps changing Kutani to Katano... or why I didn't proofread before I posted. Oh well. Good excuse to bump this up and see if maybe someone recognizes it yet. Thanks!
