This is very simular. last year around April I had found another piece with the same body bottom color twist I knew it had to be from the same artist I wrote his name down but cant find it any where now and the figurine isnt online anymore. This one you found is the closest i have seen Thanks!
I purchase this at a thrift store for $20 crazy huh!!! I could tell it was a fantastic piece with so many different techniques he appled on this mermaid it even more stunning in person its good sized also about 14" tall aprox

ddsigvertsen, thank you for the comment. It is so sad when a mother dies, I feel for your loss. I am glad covid occured after my father had passed. Old age ain't no place for sissies as Bette Davis used to say. I come on here when my health allows now. I still remember that fascinating mermaid you have with the extravagant coloring, particularly the golds and the blacks !~
