ACME STAPLER FROM THE ELLI BUK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COLLECTION

When I saw the Elli Buk's collection I knew I had to have a few pieces from it. He has an eye for the unusual and the rare. I pay tribute to his memory in my display with a photo of him next to his Acme No. 1 Stapler.

Mr. Elli Buk (1949 - 2012), was an antique dealer who was legendary for his lifetime collection of 19th and early 20th century scientific instruments and unusual objects. The massive collection of over 2,000 items was auctioned in late April 2013. Included in his collection were many items related to our industrial past and office items such as typewriters. Hole punches, staplers, and eyelet machines.
