These are the seller's photos because I am waiting for this decanter to arrive.
I'm excited to receive this wonderful piece of glass.
Minoru Akimura has been a long term glass artist working at Tsugaru Vidro in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Like other artists at Tsugaru Vidro he has designed many of their 'production' pieces, and he has also been given the freedom to make more specialised artist pieces.
I believe he has recently retired or significantly reduced his output. This dates early 2000s.
This decanter measures 32cm with the stopper.
