Peteena the Pampered Poodle Doll Hasbro made one year 1966 . She is 9 inches tall and had clothes you could buy separate for her . She is a Hard-to-find doll and sought after; The removable tail is often missing and her fur hair often matted and missing. She is wearing her original Bikini, bracelet, hat and is missing her sunglasses. What a fun novelty doll she is . She is sought after and still commands a good price .

She has those wonderful eyes and that rare tail to still be there is a wowser. Her condition is stellar and almost complete. I imagine the glasses are findable with some searching. Quite the find Mani, congratulations !~

I guess I have to keep in mind that Barbie has her origins in a doll that wasn't meant to be a toy for children.

keramikos, I am not sure but assume the public didn't get having a doll look like a dog . So she was discontinued and was probably not selling well . She is part of the history of the 60's and unique , Actually quite cute in her own way . Thank you for stopping and no of coarse I am not offended :-)

I would have wanted Peteena so much if I had seen her when I was young. Heck, I want her now. I always loved the fashion dolls and loved making clothes for them. If they were a bit unusual, I liked them more!! She is great.
