Possible Edwardian era. most chairs from that time have cross peace connecting the legs though and I can’t find any that are stag legs. Does anyone know what this chair is?

Thats not the way to use it as your pic does not show it how it is supposed to sit in a corner !! Much newer chair as these are still being made today. I have seen the catalogs dealers get.
