Around 1994 I was driving back to work from a job and passed by this radio for sale in a guys driveway. I forget whether it was for $30 or $40, but whatever it was, I offered him $10 less and he took it. It sat in my damp basement for years.
The radio works, but the knobs are missing. The turntable turns but I don't get any sound from it. I'm sure it's just a corroded wire somewhere because it worked before it sat in that damp basement.
The record that came with it is "Is You Is Or Is You Ain't (Ma' Baby) and (There'll Be A) Hot Time In The Town Of Berlin (When The Yanks Go Marching In) by Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters with Vic Schoen And His Orchestra.

The last estimate I had on it was in 1997 and that was for $90-$120. Unless it was for a stupid amount of money I doubt if I'd ever sell it. It looks great in a little alcove in our family room.

Great player. I have the same Philco 46 perfectly restored all original knobs etc. Picked it up at Vintage Music Company in Mpls. MN in 1997. I use the phonograph at least every other day, great warm sound. When I bought mine it was I believe 475 restored. With the great style and phonograph I'd hold on to that one.

Hi; I have a radio similar to this that I have inherited from my great grandmother. I am trying to learn about it. I cannot find a model number, does anyone have any idea where I may find it? Thanks a ton!
