Looks like it could be a Stan Laurel lamp, I found it in a Goodwill Distrbution center, where everything go's first, before being sent out to the Goodwill store's. Have had it for about three years, I love it and really don't care if it is or is not, But, was hopeing someone might know a little more about it!!

The originals of him standing leaning against the lamp have sold for over $2000.00. I think what you have is a nice display item for your lamp collection. Thanks for sharing it. I remember watching those two on black & white TV when I was a couple years younger than I am now :)

Doesn't look like Stan Laurel to me. Stan always wore a bowler, not a top hat, and he was really skinny.

I love my lamp, just as he is and now that I think of it, I remember the bowler hat too! But he is still special to me, Thanks for the comments:~)

He is pretty cool and his green eyebrows can be a conversation piece.

I think I remember owning one of these from the early sixties. The batteries went in the can where he is seated. He originally had a bottle in one hand, and a cigar in the other. He would raise the bottle to his mouth, then the cigar, which had a small light in it.

I think his nose might have lit up when he took a drink too.

This is an Illfelder Good Time Charlie lamp. Google the name and you will find others and values. Thank you for sharing.
