This sketch was found with 3 others (it appears that all are different artists) at a free book exchange near Berekely, CA. The title is Eglise De Mantes. The artists signature as I read it says: H. Saffrey, 1875. This is not an original. Other words that appear: H. Saffrey.del.et sculp. (on the right side bottom); Imp. Lemercier.et Cie (with the ie appearing smaller and higher than the C, the ie is underlined, on the left bottom). The paper does not appear to be yellowed by time but it is not white. It has an indentation that frames the print and title. To my touch when compared to 70 lb paper, it feels the same. It is approx 9 3/4" x 11". There is no other markings on the front or back.

    Thank you.
