This item is possibly an antique. ....The glass appears to be blue, but that may be because of the liquid that was held in this..I really have no idea what this is or what it was used for....I thought maybe an 'oil bottle...........If anyone knew and wanted to share some info this would be appreciated....Thank you

I have seen this type of bottle with applied metal work before. In fact, I have one that I bought years ago sitting on my desk as a reminder that all is not what it seems.

I was told, when I researched mine, that these could be purchased in marketplaces in countries such as India. Apparently perfume bottles etc. would be picked from dumps, the metal would be applied (think small cottage industry) and they would be sold to tourists.

Ok thx Mac...Not sure if this is one of those...........It seems a little bit more intricate than just a tourist keepsake.....

Moroccan rosewater sprinkler :-) May be from India too...
Used to add drips to desserts or tea, and to perfume our hands before/after eating :-)

Looks like a vintage Moroccan eyeliner bottle.
