The Jack Nicklaus Golden Bear Cayman Signature Golf Ball

A golf ball with less distance, no way… Way!

Way back in the 1980’s Jack Nicklaus designed a golf course for the Britannia Golf and Beach Club, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands , British West Indies. With Grand Cayman being as small as it is land is very limited so Nicklaus designed course with the typical course lay out, only at half the length. The ball had to be designed to have the flight path of a regulation golf ball and only travel half the distance using the same clubs. MacGregor engineers worked with Mr. Nicklaus to bring the world Golden Bear Cayman Golf Ball.

The Jack Nicklaus Golden Bear Cayman Signature Golf Ball is highly sought after by collectors. “Who wants a golf ball that only flies half the distance?” “I do! I do!”
