Because this brooch looks so beautiful I was immediate in love. I bought it for a small price. After a test proved to be Sterling Silver but I can not find any marks. All stones are still there and are close to the back (see pic. 3). Therefore, I think the paste is put on foil. I suppose this jewel became later a brooch and put a pin on and a safety lock around 1930. I suspect that the jewel itself is much older. I therefore call once again for your help because I like to hear your idea of dating this very nice jewelry ??

nutsabotash, thanks for your sweet comment. The advice I can give you is: Do you dreams come true! If you really want something, they often come true. And indeed, I'm glad I have all these beautiful jewelry and may accumulate but I am at an age that I know this is not the most important thing in life to be happy!
