Found this little Sheffield alarm clock this weekend at a sale. I thought it was a toy at first but it seems to be a cute little mid century, metal alarm clock. I just love the colors and just wish it wasn't wound too tight to work. Makes a great decorative item though.

very col piece,..when you give it a lil rock side to side does it tick at alll?? might just need some grit blown out of it and some good quality clock oil on the bits,..NO CHEAP SPRAY wd 40 type that will KILL it

It doesn't tick at all unless you take the back off and manipulate the gears a little but I was afraid of doing more harm than good. I just love how cheerful it is.
