I apologize for the lack of info, I will try to update it when I can. Im curious to find out more about it, my husband is in love with it...lol
If any one would like to offer up some insight that would be wonderful, not looking for an apprasial or anything, just the right direction for the history/information on the trunk.

    **UPDATE** (9/4/2013)

Perfectly fine standard canvas covered early 1900's flat-top trunk with a nice old shipping label.

It appears to have a fairly well preserved interior. Too bad there is no lithograph. Looks as though someone lost the key and then installed a small hasp next to the lock. I'm in love with it too, especially the White Star Line sticker. Can it be a ship from Southhampton to Newburg, New York on the Hudson River?

Thank you all so far for the info, I am really loving this trunk, but unforunatley I may have to "give it up". I understand there is no selling or anything on here at that ok. I am still enjoying all the info and I will be back to show more photos and photos of another trunk I would love to get thoughts and opinions on. Thanks again everyone!! Keep the comments coming please.
      :)
