Victorian Eastlake parlor arm chair with original upholstery. Made of walnut and nice detailing. Found this beauty today on our local swap page for 20.00. The upholstery on the arms needs some TLC, but other than that a very sturdy chair.
Beautiful chair!

Thank you officialfuel for the nice comment.
Appreciate the love, vetraio50, Moonstonelover21, officialfuel, SEAN68, and Antigue Toys.
Wow, this is gorgeous. It has a lot of the same details as my settee bench.
We have a local swap where people sell things through facebook. It was advertised for 30.00 and someone offered 20.00. When they decided not to buy it for the 20.00 I jumped on it. Couldn't pass that price!
Good buy!
These are normally part of a set-- most likely a parlor set with sofa/ settee and a few chairs.
I used to see them all the time, not so much today.

Thanks scottvez for the comment. Would love to find the rest of the set. This one originally came from Illinois. The person I bought it from gave me a bit of information. They bought it from and antique store in Illinois and hauled all the way to Iowa. She just did not have room for it anymore.
What a bargain! I just paid $30 for a gentleman's parlor chair that I got at a garage sale just yesterday. I posted it today in Victorian furniture. I thought that was a good deal!
