I thought I had snagged a set of six coasters, called Pipe Dreams by Fornasetti. Two bucks...SCORE! But...where is the signature? Some sort of stamp on the back? Are they...fakes!!!
I don't know. I know that this imagery is not something I really like (pipes, really?) and wonder why anyone would want to fake these.
Looking for thoughts and votes here.

I am good... Busy... Buying a condo. In the midst of all the fun things related to it.. Not. But once it's done, it will be great. It's in my absolute favorite neighborhood in town. We are thinking about downsizing, so probably move in it next year.

Yes I know, just wanted to see what the team had to say.
meaning they don't know that they are fakes. these are not real , I have been reading and collecting fornasetti now for almost 3 years . I know what is and what isn't!!
and I will be letting those people know on ebay !! and that will be the second time now on ebay someone has done that and the last person on ebay I told them it wasn't fornasetti and they ended there listing!!
I have to say they are NOT VERY CLEAR in there description because most titles in ebay for seller always says in the title" style like"

Interesting debate about the semantics of eBay listings. It is a buyer beware world out there.
Regardless, they are now going in the Randolph pile. I picked them up because I knew several folks really like the Fornasetti and for a couple of bucks, why not.
