Quick stop at a favorite thrift on way home today. In the candle section I'm skimming and then spot a face...then a Kosta Boda sticker! I glance over and there is another similar dish shape...a match! Wait...I've got Live and Laughter...where is love?
I then proceeded to tear the entire store apart looking for love.
Love was with the salt/pepper/creamer section.
These are about six inches square and super heavy. I believe they are new, and have that cool Scandinavian glow.
I have the love one... From my Grandma... She brought it from Sweden!!

These are indeed from Bertil Vallien's 'Days' Series this shape has also been used for Corporate gifts & commemorative items (with an engraved design in the centre rather than moulded) Nice find!

Nldionne...a bunch of GoodWills have popped over in the last two years. Some are so sanitized and expensive I rarely will go to them. However, some are full of the good stuff that I put them on my regular routine. Also remember I hit the thrifts every day and most days walk away empty handed.

Doing good I see like me you can love all sorts of things that catch the eye . I would love to of seen you ripping store apart. I find if I go like that & get caught at it the put the pice up it can be hard containing yourself when you really want something.
