      I was just about to post my brass knuckles from the 70's. Yours looks like somthing from the Scorcese movie "Gangs of New York" era! Jaw Dropping or Breaking piece! =)

      If these are lead I can't begin to imagine anyone actually trying to use them. Lead is one of the softest metals there is. I can see someone hurting their fingers more than the object or person they hit. The three finger design is kind of different. All the ones I see at flea markets etc. are four finger brass knuckles. Thanks for sharing.

      I'm with fhrjr2, lead would bend up just making a fist. It looks like cast iron to me. Does a magnet stick to it?
      If I were to guess I would say the end has been broken off ...... someone out there with a Speed Knot on their head could tell us for sure.

      during the civil war a lot of soldiers made these by melting down led bullets and no az the end isn't broken that's the way it was made if want can show pic from that side
