Kralik - Bronze collar pieces

Here is a very rare series of 12" Kralik vases cir. 1930. The glass is HEAVY and is blown into a bronze ring decorated with sunfish or geese (you can't remove the metal ring). The glass decor can have a patina, overshot or frost finish; the frost finish is different from satin pieces as the frost is heavy and porous like pumice stone. With the mottled types the decoration is applied in layers to create a "leafy canopy" effect. The collar may not be bronze but I call it "bronze" because of the Art Deco style similar to sculpture, medals or wall plaques. Although it is commonly believed that metal applications were applied by different companies (than the glass manufacturer) I believe the metal was made by the glass company or at least purchased for this use. Signed in the "CZECHOSLOVAKIA" in an arch shape.
