Alfredo thank you for clarifying that this shape is attributed to loetz as suspected.
This vase does have a polished pontil which I believe is a Loetz vase.
Sean, XOXOXO

Very unique and beautiful.
Hi Lee...I hate to do this but I will always be the one to say what I know.
PLEASE: If someone knows anything different that what I am stating here, please respond as I would love to be proved wrong.
These shapes have never been linked directly to Loetz thru any currently known reference material.
MK made one vase, 1090/113 that can be said to even remotely resemble this in form. This is not to say emphatically that the vase isn't Loetz as too many records and forms remain unknown. I have posted a copy of the Kirschner form page on Fliacker for you to inspect. I suspect that some maker was influenced by MK and made these pieces.

famatta127, thank you...changed the posting XOXOXO
I know from experience it can be difficult to hear that the attribution you were hoping it would be turns out to be something else. That is how it goes with glass collecting sometimes.
The lesson - one really needs to pay attention as to who you get your information from. Auction houses, sellers on eBay and private sites are notorious for getting it wrong all the time. And yet for some reason because someone has said with some confidence that it is indeed Loetz or PK or whatever, it becomes gospel. Always check at least 3 other sources if you are unsure.
I am convinced if most sellers had their way every darn piece of art glass on eBay would be attributed to Loetz because they are greedy – hoping to cash in. Perhaps I am being a bit harsh, sometimes it just plain laziness because they haven't checked out the the appropriate sources...:)
There are many smart people here who know glass, including the gentlemen who just posted here. In my opinion, as collectors, we have a responsibility to not let wrong information be perpetuated. I say well done Tony and thank you for being so generous with your knowledge.
The other important question to ask, is does the attribution change, change how you feel about the piece? I hope not - it is still a great looking piece of glass.
Mac, its hard for me to take criticism and learning that this is not Antique Jewelry...and a new passion...time for learning..and more learning. Thank you for all your help and as a good friend would tell me stick to the known pieces..
XOXOXO
