An interesting find.
Original signed painting by Noted Canadian artist Ernest Fosbery
Dated 1898 on the back.
I think it is oil on board.
He has a painting of the 9 th P.M. of Canada, Arthur Meighen, on display in the Centre Block on Parliament Hill, Ottawa
I'd like to know where this scene is in Canada.
Maybe someone can recognize the place?
Possibly the Gatineau / Ottawa area?
Maybe it was Meighen's place? :)
