I found those China dishes in a storage unit. Made by Noritake. Beautiful fine china and colors. Don't know much more about it. I tried to find out more information but nothing nothing like this crossed my way. The little dishes are only about 2" in diameter. I assume they are for sauces like Wasabi????They are in pristine condition. No cracks or chips. wonderful artist
Beautiful! The mark dates from the 1920-40's, Morimura Brothers. Noritake pieces were generally made for the American market, so are probably open salts. Nippon collector's society may be able to help with the pattern identification.
I just saw the patter, that's funny that the Japanese artist thought peanuts grew on vines!
pattern!
I think the pattern suggests that this is a nut set, rather than salts.
Once again "Thank you all" for your information. All very helpful and very interesting. Thanks
I think a little too small for nuts
