Anyone up for a game of name them gadgets?

While in edit mode... Is there an option to rotate photos?

I have a kitchen gadget posted also. It is on my page. Can you identify it? 100 years ago it was a common kitchen item although the one I posted is only about 85 years old.

I saw your item, I like it very much, but unfortunately I do not know what it is.
It's sort of resembles a mandolin slicer.

Aimathena - I don't know the official given name of it and haven't even heard reference to it's use since the early runs of the Beverly Hillbillies TV show years ago. Old farmers are about the only ones who would know. Perhaps it is time to bring it back and explain it. My wife uses this one and in fact used it last night. It came handed down from her great grandmother and still works fine......as long as you have lots of band aids or knuckles made of steel.

I opened this page three hours ago in windows Vista and all the pictures were right. I opened this page about an hour ago in windows 8 and the pictures were right side up. I am now on my laptop with windows 7 and the two middle pictures are rotated 90 degrees to the left. The two outer pictures, left and right are right side up. Yes, I am sober and can see the images.

fhrjr2, I can verify that from the other point of view.

Have some things there I wouldn't want to see in a girls hands while I'm in the shower! One thing looks like a piston ring compressor but guess it is probably for loosening lids on jars. Kind of scary knowing that women have such an arsenal of weapons so readily available!

Have always done that! Especially around the girls in St. Maarten. Same goes for St. Martin(French side). Actually, that goes for anywhere!

These old kitchen gadgets are pretty neat. The best part about antique gadgets is you can still use them, and they will still outlast any modern gadget you can buy today.
