Found this cute little lady at VOA yesterday to add to my "chalk ware" collection. At first I was thinking Carmen Miranda but her costume looks more Cuban or Spanish plus there's no fruit in her head dress. A couple of nicks to her skirt and a bit of paint wear but in pretty good shape for a piece from the 40's. She's 8" tall and still has her original label on it's felt bottom. -Mike-
